During a trip to Romanian orphanages in 1993, Pastor Tom and Donna Mullins witnessed first-hand the overwhelming plight of suffering children. They saw the remarkable difference that was made in the lives of children by ordinary people who decided to manifest God’s love through action. Isaiah 1:17, “Learn to do good; seek justice, encourage the oppressed. Defend the fatherless…”, took root in their hearts and they began to look for opportunities to offer compassion to hurting children. This led to Place of Hope, a faith-based neighborhood for children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse and neglect.

This evening pray that the Lord will use Donna to teach the vision of compassion to the Global Pastor’s Wives Conference, so they will grasp and implement it in their communities. This is an incredible opportunity as the women attending the conference represent all fifty states, all provinces in Canada and twenty nations.
